This site has been put together to let people know what really is going on behind
the scenes at the University of California Alumni Association. Do you really want
to be donating your hard-earned money so these "professionals" can waste it on
things like lawsuits (yes, $75,000 went to defending their illegal attack on the
structure and governance of the association).
Recently the behavior of the CAA Director has been challenged. There was a coverup
by the CAA President (Nadesan Permaul) despite the positive findings of an independent
report. The report found actionable evidence that the CAA Director, Randy Parent,
had engaged in behavior that can be considered sexual harrassment.
Randy Parent has resigned recently but the Alumni Association is still in turmoil.
What is being done to protect employees from sexual harrassment? What is the Chancellor's
stand on the situation?
A copy of the report (3 parts) can be read by clicking on the links:
Did you know that while President of the Alumni Association, Nadesan Permaul made
an attempt to turn over governance of the Alumni Association to the University?
He also orchestrated a deceptive plan to remove the duly elected President who
was to follow his term (Brett Kanazawa) and managed to get his ally, Debbie Cole
to replace Brett who was forced out before even taking office. Debbie Cole is
President but was never elected!
Want to let the leadership know you want more information? Want to let the leadership know you are not
happy with the way they've been spending your hard-earned donated money? Want to let the leadership know
you are not happy with their governance of the association?

What does this mean? We need more transparency into the decisions made for
the CAA!
